Lucky 13

Team Lists for the Bay Series are up, although it doesn't show the total number of female individual riders. Typically they swell the fields by an extra 20 or so. VIS, Pitcher Partners, Rapido Cycles and Geelong Mazda will be the competition more or less. A couple of others to watch out for. Should be good fun if my legs come back!

I am also listed as riding the Christmas Carnivals.

At this stage, having ridden to work this morning (longest ride in over a week) and feeling pretty weak from the effort, I don't think I will be racing the Carnivals much. We'll see once we get there - it might just be a case of getting some motorpacing in earlier in the day and then recovering during the track racing. I hope the commissaires are understanding!

Three more days of antibiotics left. But more excitable is the dropping (slowly) of the ridiculous blood sugars I have had since being sick - even with the increased basal rates!

Weight is still off. Getting lots of comments about looking fit, looking like a bike rider, etc. And they have only started since losing the last 1.5kg since getting sick! These compare to comments on 'looking healthy', like when I returned from the US in September. But that was 8.5kg ago...so a bit has changed since then.
