Return to Tulsa

Leading the field across the start/finish at the Brady Village criterium, Day 2 of Tulsa Tough 2010.

This same spot, in this same race, in 2009 was where I was involved in a 40 rider pile up. You might know the story already, but to summarise it involved hitting a bike which was sliding across the ground while I was at full speed. It resulted in me catapulting over my own bike, into the fence and onto the ground, with four breaks in my spine and one stuffed shoulder (grade 3 AC separation requiring surgery).
It has been a long long journey to this point and I could talk much more about it all, but for now I think the image captures it all.
Needless to say, a very emotional moment for Ewin and I.
